VisiIndonesia.com - PEKANBARU - Jajaran Dewan Pengurus Wilayah (DPW) Komite Masyarakat Danau Toba (KMDT) Provinsi Riau periode 2021-2026, resmi dikukuhkan oleh Ketua Umum KMDT, St. Edison Manurung, SH, MM di Ballroom Furaya Hotel pada Sabtu, 25 Juni 2022.

Sebelum dilakukan pengukuhan, Ketua Umum KMDT, St. Edison Manurung meminta kepada pengurus DPW KMDT Provinsi Riau yang diwakili Ketua, Sekertaris dan Bendahara, menyampaikan sumpah/janji untuk menjalankan tanggung jawab dengan baik dalam menjalankan roda organisasi KMDT.

Selanjutnya dilakukan pengukuhan, ditandai dengan penyerahan Pataka dari Ketua Umum KMDT, St. Edison Manurung kepada Sonny M Silaban sebagai Ketua DPW KMDT Provinsi Riau didampingi Dr Tuti Khairani Harahap. S.Sos.,M.Si sebagai sekertaris dan Nata Hedy Nyo,SE .MH.sebagai Bendahara DPW KMDT Provinsi Riau.

Hadir dalam acara pengukuhan pengurus DPW KMDT Provinsi Riau ini, Sekjen DPP KMDT Prof Dr Sihol Situngkir MBA, Gubernur Riau yang diwakili Kepala Biro Perekonomian Jhon Armedi Pinem, Perwakilan Forkompinda Provinsi Riau dan Kota Pekanbaru, utusan payuguban se provinsi Riau dan Perwakilan organisasi Mahasiswa Batak Riau.

Ketua Umum KMDT St. DR. Edison Manurung, SH.,M.M, dalam sambutannya menyebutkan KMDT merupakan lembaga kemasyarakatan yang secara swadaya melibatkan diri untuk mendukung dan mendorong pemerintah serta seluruh stakeholder mewujudkan pariwisata Danau Toba yang bertaraf internasional.

“Untuk mencapai tujuan itu maka pada hari ini kita mengukuhkan jajaran pengurus DPW KMDT Provinsi Riau untuk bersama sama mewujudkan pariwisata danau Toba bertaraf internasional, dan juga objek pariwisata di Riau," ujar Edison Manurung.

Selamat mengemban tugas buat seluruh Pengurus DPW KMDT Provinsi Riau, Terima kasih juga buat dukungan yang luar biasa dari Forkompinda Riau," sebutnya lagi.

Sementara, Ketua DPW KMDT Provinsi Riau Sonny M Silaban, mengucapkan terima kasih kepada DPP KMDT, atas kepercayaan yang diberikan DPP kepada dirinya memimpin DPW KMDT Riau 5 tahun kedepan.

“Terimakasih kepada Ketua Umum KMDT yang telah mempercayakan kami menjadi pengurus DPW KMDT Provinsi Riau. Kami akan bekerja keras sesuai anggaran dasar dan anggaran rumah tangga dan akan mengerjakan program-program KMDT. Kita akan sama sama menyatukan tekad membangun percepatan pariwisata khususnya di Propinsi Riau," ujar Sonny M Silaban.

Dalam rangkaian kegiatan pengukuhan ini, juga dilakukan penandatanganan nota kesepahaman (MoU) antara DPW KMDT Provinsi Riau dengan DPD Perkumpulan Aparatur Pemerintah Desa Seluruh Indonesia atau Papdesi RIAU.

Dikatakan Sonny M Silaban, penandatanganan MOU antara DPW KMDT Riau dan DPD Papdesi Riau ini, adalah langkah awal dalam kerjasama DPW KMDT Riau khususnya dalam percepatan usaha wisata masyarakat pedesaan dalam pemanfaatan sumber daya alam yang ada didesa.

Ketua DPD Papdesi Riau, Syofian SH MH menyambut baik dan mengapresiasi DPW KMDT RIAU yang telah menggagas kerjasama dengan DPD Papdesi Riau dalam sektor keparawisataan.
